Bernie Barbour, Director of Technology
Bernie Barbour leads the strategy and execution of all engineering initiatives for enLabel Global Services. He works closely with life sciences and medical device manufacturers to build creative solutions that merge technology with business strategies.
Bernie has extensive experience in the technology industry. Over the last 15 years he has performed the role of Architect, Engineering Manager and Director in a variety of corporations. He possesses broad engineering and software development experience in the areas of enterprise systems, distributed object systems, massively-scalable architectures, relational databases, and high availability systems. In addition to Integrated Packaging Management, he has been responsible for developing systems in the application areas of Knowledge Management, Content Management, CRM, e-commerce, and Healthcare IS.
Previous to joining enLabel Global Services, Bernie was Director of Application Services with C.P. Baker & Company a private equity investment firm, incubating early stage web based e-commerce companies. He was a Software Architect for mGen Inc. a private e-Learning solutions provider and Engineering Manager for Stream International an outsource technical support provider for Microsoft, Dell and HP as well as other fortune 500 clients.
Bernie received his undergraduate degree from Providence College. He holds Microsoft Certifications and has an excellent working knowledge of PMI’s project management processes as well as FDA, GMP and ISO Quality operating standards. |
