Web Development Software Engineer -Saas

enLabel, a leader in Integrated Packaging Management for Life Science companies, is initiating a new SaaS division dedicated to developing unique cloud based business solutions for our clients. This is a ground floor opportunity to join enLabel as we are currently hiring multiple developers for this new product group.

The Web Development Software Engineer develops commercial web-based applications for large Fortune 200 clients from around the world using the full .NET stack (ASP.NET, C#, HTML5, XML, MS SQL and Oracle). This is a challenging position that includes new product development, customizing existing software for clients, as well as scaling our current environment.

Core Job Responsibilities:

Design, develop, test and deploy Web Based applications for commercial use.
End-to-end development of software applications including user interfaces, business logics and database backbends.
Create software requirements, configuration and design specifications.
Create logic flow and process diagrams and documentation for all aspects of the product life cycle.
Develop new modules, enhancements to existing programs and new products.
Maintain existing programs, solve and fix technical issues for client applications and product platforms.
Interface with project managers and on an as needed basis directly with clients.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Education

BS Computer Science or equivalent required.

Experience:

3-5 years of web applications development expertise developing software that interfaces with databases.
At least 2+ year’s commercial experience developing web-based applications on the .NET stack, including ASP.NET, C#, and MS SQL and Oracle.

Skills:

Expertise in web portal and custom database maintenance and development in Oracle version – 9i, 10g and 11i, MS SQL – SQL Server 2005 and 2008, .net framework - .net 2 and .net 4, Silverlight version 4.0, OS – windows Server 2003 and 32008 – 32 and 64 bit editions, IIS – Versions 6 and 7
Expert level knowledge the following programming languages: ASP.net (webforms), Classic ASP.net, AJAX, C#,VB and VB script for Classic ASP, Javascript, Classic HTML and XML, Webservices, HTML5, SOAP, T-SQL, PL-SQL, Stored procedures
Knowledge of Windows server 2005,2008, IIS version 6 and 7, NET 2.0 and 4.0, C#, ASP.NET, MS SQL, WCF, SaaS, Web Development, B2B applications, HTML5, XML
Proficiency in using RAD tools, C++ . and the following development tools: Visual Studio 2005 and 2010, Visual Source Safe version 2005+
Proficiency in using Microsoft Expression Blend (Silverlight)
Experience with design and development of web applications with integrating front-end technologies and with back end server side technologies a must. Exposure to user interface design principles, workflow processes, human factors, user centered design processes, interaction design guidelines and usability methodologies a big plus. Experience working with large databases helpful.
Knowledgeable of Test complete QA software/or equivalent automated testing software.
Expert level knowledge of entire MS Office Suite.

Ability to work in a team environment with limited resources in a startup/early stage environment.
