Technical Support - Entry Level

This person will be involved in many facets of customer service, therefore, must have exemplary communication skills. This is a full time position and is eligible for benefits. Candidate should reside in or around Southeaster Massachusetts and have at a minimum a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Science.
Responsibilities:

Provide excellent customer support for external as well as internal customers.

Build and maintain customer relationships.

Develop and maintain expertise for all software and hardware product lines.

Solve customer problems by telephone, web support, VPN, and on-site visits.

Provide pre-sales support to Sales and Marketing, including providing demonstration files and training.

Execute product upgrades and conversions.

Participate in shows, seminars, and training, as required.
-
Serve as customer advocate.
-
Provide 24- hour coverage as needed.

Research resolutions for custom products on Oracle and SQL environments.

Requirements gathering, analysis, and researching change requests and custom coding requirements.

Serve as additional QA resource as needed.
Qualifications

Strong, current technical skills, |

Experience with delivery of products, services, & methodologies for quality assurance & software qualification. |

Effective communication skills. |

Teamwork attitude & commitment to meet deadlines. |
 |
Minimum 3 years experience in systems & application, installation, configuration & deployment with strong client interface. |
 |
BS in computer science, CIS or BIS. |
 |
Oracle and SQL database support experience preferred. |
 |
Development experience with any .Net Framework a plus. |
